We were asked to create three t-shirt designs that follow a culture, we were allowed to pick anything. I decided to go with Japanese culture and did a lot of research to work out what I wanted to go with. I went with a Japanese Dragon, a Japanese Koi Carp and a Japanese Water Crane, each a symbol of something good. With these designs we were asked to pick one and sell it on Mercht (a t-shirt printing site), I managed to sell 12 t-shirts in a short space of time. As well as this, we needed to create promotional material to get them selling across social media.

We had a guest speaker come in who used to own his own clothing company and he wanted us to pick a place in the world, it could be anywhere. I decided to pick Germany because I studied it for five years and I also visited Berlin, it was amazing seeing all of the history. From this we needed to create some clothing, based on the place we picked. For my clothing, I came up with a brand name 'Städtisch', which means Urban in English. I wanted this to be the main part of the design with an illustration, I came up with several designs that are simple but street.

Whilst at college, my final major project had to be based around Mens Mental Health. We had to come up with our own charity and a way to promote and share it. I came up with the Charity called 'HOT' which stands for 'Hundreds of Thoughts', this links directly to Mens Mental Health. Along with a video created for social media use, I created merchandise that could be sold to go along with it but I wanted it to look like normal clothing instead of charity clothing. I feel as though if it is something different that you can wear everyday you are more likely to buy it. Due to Covid-19 my brief was cut short so I didn't have more time to create more merchandise as well as social media posts.
